Boy was I bowled over by the amount of good stuff out
So the idea for this blog started out as a way of keeping all my unfinished projects in check, and a way of putting gentle pressure onto myself to finish things, at least sometimes.
I also wanted to use it to keep a track of the projects, snippets of inspiration, and ideas I'd bookmarked for later, the electronic magazine and newspaper clippings, as you might say.
I never thought people - real live people - other than my close friends and family of course - would want to read my ramblings, or look at my half finished attempts at making beautiful things. But it turns out a few people are interested. And for that I am immensely grateful.....it's really nice to have company.
So here's the current - very varied - list. It's in chronological order - first posted is first on the list - maybe you'll also find some inspiration amongst my 'clippings'.

And I followed your link. I take it you are Canadian too by your comment - or did I get that wrong? Love the post and all the things that inspire you/are on your want to make list. Some of them are on mine but I have a rather scattered mental list that doesn't work as well as yours! I shall come back and read more later.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for youtr lovely comments!
ReplyDeleteSusan - sorry no, I'm not Canadian. I am just amazed by the amount of blogging quilters here in the UK - for a long time I thought there were hardly any of us.
