Well Worth Waiting For

'Wow' is all I can say.

This is the table runner I recieved from my partner in the SewHappyGeek Table Runner Swap. Isn't it fab?

It is exactly what I had 'asked for' in my inspiration mosaics:

I just love it!

Thank you so much, Angela!

But wait....what did I send out? My partner's mosaics were very different to my taste, so it was a bit of a challenge. It involved a whole lot of pink and a few near-panic-attacks, but from my partner's reaction I think I may have got it right!

Happy weekend!

And by the way - I decided to join the fun over on Twitter, so come and join me if you dare! @cherrytwistblog

Linked up here, here and here!

  1. Love the runner! You can never go wrong with rainbows. Great mosaic.

  2. Lucky you! The table runner looks fabulous and I love your mosaic :)

  3. Oh my, I am a bit jealous of your bright and happy rainbow there! You are right, that really was worth waiting for and I'm so, so overjoyed that you had a good time swapping! :) esp as you're such a doll!

  4. The table runner you made is beautiful! and the hand stitching is just great.
    Love your rainbow mosaics!

  5. They're both lovely but I really love that rainbow one! I'm always tempted by swaps but then I chicken out, thinking I can't handle the pressure...!

  6. Both are amazing! I think I'm slowly being convinced to join a swap.. I htink I need to build my stash up first!

  7. Very nice table runners - the one you made and the one you received! Thanks for sharing.
